I am a Registered Dietitian who works with clients 1:1 to help them achieve all of their health and fitness goals. I use my knowledge and expertise to get you where you need to be and want to go.
-
Your journey with Aligned Fitness starts with a 60 minute initial consultation where I get to learn more about you, including your past experiences with health and fitness, current habits and behaviors, deeper priorities and values, as well as pain points and goals.
If you choose to subscribe to my coaching service, this will also include a body composition analysis, functional movement screen, work capacity assessment, and any other necessary evaluations.
I believe in assessing and never guessing. This data-driven process allows me to better understand your current needs, desires, and goals to create the best program for you.
-
In my practice, I take an agnostic approach with each of my clients, acknowledging there is no one-size-fits-all solution when it comes to improving one’s health and fitness. I believe fitness looks different for each individual, and my role is to assist you in discovering a embracing your ideal version of fitness.
-
To design effective programs, I rely on data-driven processes through ongoing consultations and assessments. This helps me provide you with a program that not only allows you to look and feel great but also supports your journey toward a more healthier, fulfilling life.
-
What separates me from others in my field is my commitment to building a meaningful relationship with you. I view myself as your guide, helping you navigate the inevitable ups and downs of fitness and life. Together, we will build a strong bond and create lasting results.

It depends…
I don’t generally recommend meal plans for any of my clients. The rigidity and unsustainability of meal plans often fails in the long-run. In my experience, I have found that very few clients actual benefit from this level of restriction, and I often reserve creating meal plans for competitors who are pushing their body composition or physical performance to the highest level and request them. And even in these cases, the actual need for meal plans is extremely rare.
That said, some clients appreciate having the additional guidance and find it helpful to have a template for structuring their meals throughout the week. In this case, I will work collaboratively with my client during a consultation to create their meal plan.
All in all, meal plans are temporary solutions, and most clients have a difficult time adhering to the same meal plan week after week for months or years on end. Instead, I teach you how to tailor your nutrition regimen to your preferences and lifestyle so that you can accomplish your goals and sustain your results.
-
It also depends…
If, after reviewing your intake form and completing our initial consult, we decide to track calories and macros, we will start with a comprehensive nutrition assessment via Cronometer to better understand your current eating habits and nutritional intake. After evaluating your results, I can provide you with initial calorie and macro targets. From there, we will adjust targets over time based on progress and results.
And no, you DO NOT need to track calories and macros to work with me. It’s completely optional. Tracking your food meticulously can be a valuable tool for some, whereas destructive and counterproductive for others.

For the most part, no. Unless you are subscribed to my coaching service, I DO NOT offer ongoing communication and feedback in-between sessions via email or text.
-
You will need to fill out several online forms, which you will receive via email upon booking your appointment. The email will be from Practice Better. These forms must be filled out before your appointment — I’ll email you after you book to let you know when they need to be filled out by. The forms include an intake form, waiver, communication guidelines, credit card authorization, consent for telehealth, and HIPPA notice of privacy practices.
-
The majority of my clients opt to schedule a session with me every other week to keep themselves accountable. However, some clients prefer more frequent, weekly sessions, whereas others prefer less frequent, monthly sessions. Follow-up frequency is completely up to you, although I have found that my most successful clients tend to follow-up bi-weekly.
-
I charge a fee for no-shows and cancellations within 24 hours of an appointment, although I can make exceptions if a true emergency comes up. Additionally, in the event that your insurance denies the claim for whatever reason, you would be responsible for my out-of-pocket fees ($150 USD for an initial session and $125 USD for a follow-up session).
Note: I will NEVER charge your card for anything without letting you know first, but I do keep a card on file to protect myself against scenarios in which individuals don’t show up for an appointment or have a claim denied and subsequently don’t pay money owed.
-
I will submit the claim for our session on your behalf. If your health insurance covers my services, you won’t need to do anything. If your health insurance company denies the claim, or says that you owe money, I will let you know via email. To prevent this from happening unexpectantly, we will need to verify your benefits before our session (see the next question).
Note: I will NEVER bill your credit card without letting you know via email beforehand, along with the reason for the charge.
-
There are two ways you can figure this out: 1) I can verify your benefits for you, or 2) you can verify your benefits yourself. To do so, use the following link to fill out your insurance information and access my verifying benefits guide — Verify Benefits.
-
You can pay my out-of-pocket rates if you would prefer not to use your health insurance, if your health insurance doesn’t cover my services, or if you’re outside of the U.S. I charge $150 USD for an initial session and $125 USD for a follow-up session. You can also subscribe to my coaching service for $300 USD monthly which includes ongoing communication, daily programming, weekly check-ins, monthly consults, and more.
